‘This is a depiction of Alice Guymer the daughter of builder George Guymer that built and lived in my house which was built around 1890. He also built the row cottages across the road and both homes next to us. Alice ran the shop and post office next door so she was one of Adelaide’s first female business women. I procrastinated over this design as it had to have meaning to Kilkenny and our historic homes.’
